Practice identifying and expressing what you want and don’t want, practice everyday consent, identify boundaries, and practice self-advocacy for your relationships

Empowerment Coach Workshops

An Empowerment Coach (EC) is a person from the participant’s family and/or circle of support. ECs are invited to:

  • Attend Coaching Workshops to learn PASSION Skills

  • Gain tools to support the individual in your life

  • Connect with other parents & support person

Weekly Group Skills Classes

In-person group classes to learn skills for understanding your body, your choices, and romantic relationships.

Do you want to Participate in PASSION?

You can sign up for PASSION at anytime. When you sign up, you will be automatically added to the waitlist. We will contact you in May or November when the our enrollment opens! Then your Regional Center Social Worker will be asked to complete an official referral.

Can I participate if I use the Self Determination Program (SDP)?

YES! If you participate in a Self-Determination Plan (SDP), you may be able to participate in PASSION Program through your monthly budget.

PASSION program!

  • You learn skills for self esteem, self expression & self love

  • We ALL learn differently. PASSION learning materials are developed to support diverse learning styles. Our materials are constantly evolving and we will modify teaching modalities and materials for your learning styles and preferences.

  • Learn and practice skills for connecting with your body through gentle mindfulness practices that are trauma sensitive and informed. PASSION is also a Body Positive Program. All bodies are beautiful, respected and celebrated.

  • Each individual will choose their own goals. Participation is a choice, and you can chose the things that are most important to you to learn about.

  • Learn what you want to learn! Meet online weekly with a Le Tusa Relationship Skills Coach. Review skills, watch videos, and explore resources for your life. We will work with you to individualize your PASSION program.

  • Learn with others in a fun, interactive, multi method teaching style. Learn through discussions, expressive activities, role plays, videos, visual materials, a learning table with diverse sexuality education resources, games and more.

  • The PASSION in-person group classes move between Marin, San Mateo, and San Francisco Counties. Check our webpage for where PASSION is coming next!

  • PASSION is offered 2 times a year.

    SPRING: January - June

    FALL: July - December

  • Participants in the program can invite someone in their life, to be an Empowerment Coach (EC) This could be a parent, family member, caregiver, or a person in life that your life that you trust. The ECs are offered education and coaching workshops to reflect on their own relationship skills and to learn skills for how to empower and support participants with sexuality and relationships.

  • YES! We recognize that when relationships and sexuality are discussed, someone in the room is likely a trauma survivor. We will individualize the PASSION program with you and support your learning with trauma sensitive and informed practices.

  • PASSION is a program that is vendored by Golden Gate Regional Center. If you receive regional center services you can participate in the PASSION program through your regional center services. Contact your social worker and request a referral to the PASSION program.
