Deena Abramson
Program Development Specialist
Deena is the Clinical Programs Supervisor and Program Development Specialist at Le Tusa. She supports program design, development and implementation of Le Tusa Programs. Her offerings include therapeutic services for individuals and their families, clinical support to Relationship Skills Coaches, and co-facilitation of Le Tusa's Heart-to-Heart, CONNECT and PASSION programs. Deena is grateful to support each individual's imagining of what health, wellness and empowered living means to them.
Deena holds a B.A. in Social Welfare and Gender/Women's Studies from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, an M.S.W. from the University of California- Berkeley, and is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with the California Board of Behavioral Sciences. She is committed to and particularly passionate about community mental health and its connection to disability, economic, and racial justice. She remains interested in relationships, family systems, parenthood, anxiety, and grief.
Deena enjoys swimming, propagating houseplants, exploring herbal medicine, drawing cartoons, and spending time with her family.
